After many years and bikes I’m rebuilding my third GL10000. (76, 79 and now a 78)
I pulled this bike apart about a year ago and the rest of the bike is complete but the part below is not clicking. I believe it was on or near the radiator...thoughts?

Are they not the little spacers that fit between the muguard (fender?) and the mounting stay?

Bingo!!
You are exactly correct.
The front fender that was on the bike was dented when I had to pull the bike out of where it had been stored for 20+ years with a winch and I have replaced it with a fender from a 1981 Honda CB900C which I think looks sleeker and does not have the brace where these are used.
I NEVER like to finish reassembling anything and end up with spare parts.
