Hi Goldwingers.
I am looking for answer. I was pressing the start button when I heard a clicking sound where the battery is. I don't know if the main fuse is busted or...if the magnetic switch died. How can I rule out the magnetic switch, do you have any advise?

Re: Magnetic switch or main fuse.
Helps to know year/model. If the main fuse is bad, nothing would work. Check for power on both large terminals on the magnetic switch while pressing the button. If you have power on both terminals, the switch is good, so check the starter. Power on only one one, check that the switch is getting a signal, if so, replace. No power on either, trace power from battery to switch. Corroded terminals, etc.

Re: Magnetic switch or main fuse.
Sorry for a late respond.
The main fuse turned out to be fine and I could start the engine.
Thanks for your reply.
