Front brake seized

Sorry to bother everyone I’m currently trying to get my front brakes to work they was seized up but I was able to decompress them with some pb blaster soak an an c clamp but now I had to replace both front lines they was closed up finally got the brakes to gravity bleed them selves over several days after a few time bleeding them the calipers won’t open up there like stuck compressed again any suggestions

sounds like the fluid return port inside the master cylinder is clogged. if i remember correctly, it's a tiny (very tiny) hole within a hole in the bottom of the master cylinder (it's been a while since i did it and there have been numerous other makes/models worked on since). if i am wrong someone will come along and correct me.

My ‘76 was in similar condition and it was corrosion seizing piston in calipers. May be caliper rebuild time and clean/hone bores in calipers. May not have been just a brake hose issue.

agreed ! i somehow thought he had rebuilt the calipers.

I want to rebuild calipers but lake of money for a rebuild kit I might take the pistons out of calipers an clean them up as well as the caliper itself but I also might try a new master cylinder

I bought this complete front brake cylinder and lever for about $60. It worked perfectly
