Saddle bag/seat fitment
I have a 1978 GL1000 and I am wondering if the seat and saddlebags off a GL1200 would fit?

Re: Saddle bag/seat fitment
I tried to put a Vetter saddlebag set from a GL1100 onto my '77 GL1000 back when I owned it. Wouldn't fit, the mount points are all off by an inch here and a half inch there.
While the luggage mount points on a 1200 and 1100 are likely the same, between an 1100 and a 1000 they are definitely not. 1100 seat is different from 1000 seat, too, will not fit.
