I am having a lot of trouble finding information, I am seeing an 1100 swing arm swap on gl1000 frames but I was curious if anyone knows the length difference between the 1000 and 1100 drive shaft and what part of the drive shaft is longer?
Thanks in advance

Re: Gl1000 drive shaft
The biggest difference is the in the Universal Joint. Because the 1100 frame is longer at that point, the engine side of the joint is longer to accomodate that difference.
'Impossible' is just a level of difficulty! The only stupid question is the one you didn't ask first!

From when I was doing the swap. 1000 is the short one. I sawed the 1100 yoke apart because I couldn't press the cups far enough to get the cross out.
