Sparkplug wire holders

Post by Brendan65 »

Anyone know the part number or where to source the clips that hold the spark plug wires ?

I have one broken and can't seem to find them online.

Just a thought: Did you search by Honda part #? There are online parts fiche to identify the #.

Also, do you have a motorcycle salvage yard near you? I can't imagine anyone discarding that piece, like exhaust systems, etc. So any bikes that end up in salvage with a motor more than likely would still have them. Grab a couple while you're at it, then you'll have a spare.

Also looks like a great candidate to 3D print some new ones.

Check out: https://www.foxhondaparts.com/oemparts/ ... carburetor

Scroll down past the diagram for part info.

I think you might be looking at item 21, part # 32127-MJ1-670 Clamp, Ignition Wire. It looks like they are still available. 👍

I realize this is for the '77 model, but I'm 99% sure they're compatible.

At second look, the '79 has the same part # but the item # is 19.

Already done some time ago. Just did it for fun. You can still get the original in Partzilla if I remember it correctly.

Some folks like to keep their bike 100% original, I have no problem with that but tend to go with what works at an affordable price. Therefore my wire separators come from the dollar store!
