I have gear oil leaking from the final drive housing. On my GL1000K2 1977 model. It was ok a month ago and did a run down to Edinburgh and back to Aberdeenshire about 300 mile round trip and parked up on the centre stand in my garage . Noticed oil has run down the tyre and onto the floor. It is definitely final drive oil.
Has any one on here replaced the oil seals in the housing? If so any methods or tips please.
I have looked into the parts cataloguelist F-13 and I see that all of the seals and O-rings seem to be listed, but not all of the bearings. Anyone have a list of all the bearings?
Thank you.

Carrier bearings are;
6007 for the little one and,
6914 for the big one.
Can't help you on the pinion bearings. I'm sure you can id them when you take it apart.

Re: Final drive gear housing oil seals
Rambozo, thanks for replying. I already have those two bearing numbers from the parts catalogue. I called a friend of mine who I thought might have some info and he came back with the bearing numbers for the input shaft. They are tapered roller bearings, large bearing is 32305, small bearing is 30205. This may help someone else. Was also wondering if anyone has torque figures for the various bolts inside the casing.
