1975 Gl1000 engine bearings

Post by mattGl1000 »

I'm helping a friend find 1975 Gl1000 engine bearings for a restoration job. I'm having trouble finding anywhere that has them in stock and that can ship to Canada or the US. Any suggestions?

Do some searching here. There was a topic not that long ago where someone found suitable automotive replacements. Do you plan on grinding the crank?

Get a Vandervell or repco bearing book its full of shaft sizes and tunnel sizes you can usually find a bearing from another motor i:e a early Honda civic ? , go to a older machine shop they might give you a spare one , they get used when your working on the crank grinder .
