Hello, I just picked up some crash bars on Ebay (used) for my 1977 Gl1000 project. They came with no instructions. Does anyone have any pictures of their bike with aftermarket bars, that I could just look at to get a idea of how they attach. I think I may be missing some hardware also. Thanks again for any help.

Be easier if you posted pics of yours. There are to many out there for us to help unless we see yours.

Re: Aftermarket Crash Bars
Thanks, for feedback. I thought that would have been the way to go after thinking about it awhile. But like some things, it was right in front of me. Sometimes we make things more difficult than they are. I figured it out, but had to get two "U" clamps and acorn nuts to go around frame rail. My son took them to work to be powder coated black to match the frame. They had some pretty good road rash on them. Because of being retired, I try to save money where I can. Hopefully on road by July???
