755b carbs

Post by grahamlang »

i have a set of 755B carbs i cannot find any info on them as to what model they were fitted to. i have a genuine honda GL1000 manual with the carb fitting guide in it (page 9-2) but 755B is not listed. my bike is a UK spec 77 K2. i have looked at randekks site and had no luck there either. help please.

The 755B and 755C GL1000 carbs are from France.

In my experience, all countries got 755A with the alloy operating arms in 75. When that got changed in late 75/early 76 to steel arms and other changes, they kept the same jetting as before but were renumbered 755B for everywhere except the States.
In all the years of dealing with these bikes I have never seen a set of 755C and don't know of anyone who has.

'Impossible' is just a level of difficulty! The only stupid question is the one you didn't ask first!

( Seriously, you haven't read all 115 pages of my http://www.wingovations.com website ?? )
