Dear experts!
I have 2 questions that give me headaches. The first (and simple) is that my papers tells that it's an GL1000 engine but a collegeau of mine tells med now that the engine i s 1100. I have tried to google it but can not be sure. Anyone that can help me defining which size it is?
And now to the more difficult one. I have renovated the bike, to a more "cafe racer style". I was told that it should have been running, before it was put away for roughly 10 years ago.
Everything works now, but theres no spark. The strange thing is that when I looked through the wirings, I could see that several of the wires from the CDI's (the 2 marked "pulse") was disconnected and the 4 wires from the stator (see picture) was cut off. I conected the 4 wires to the 2 DCI's and now theres a spark. The Bike can not start and gives very high BANG. So heres the question:
Is there a special way the 4 wires should be connedted to the CDI and a specific order the 2 CDI (pulse) should be connected?
I will also look after if the ignition coils are connected in the correct order to the plugs, I think, but just need to make sure that the CDI-part is ok.
Any experts that can assist?

Re: GL1000 or 1100 and problems with ignition
Based on the pictures, it appears to be an 1100 due to the valve covers and the absence of a points cavity. That may not be the case; if not I am sure someone will advise.
