GL1000 Carb Repair

Post by LLRelease »

I am not sure of the correct name, but I broke the small brass tube that extends into the main bore. I believe it is part of the idle circuit. I was trying to free up a stuck choke shaft / butterfly valve and was got a little careless. Can this part be replaced? I have a spare carb body for parts.

Thanks!

Thanks @cfairweather! I thought the carb body was ruined. I am glad I posted here before tossing it! :D

Does anyone have suggestions for how to remove the old one?
