1976 gl 1000 engine gskts
have an oil leak coming out of both heads where the oil drains from the heads back to crank case both the bolts in heads are missing one on each side in the bottom oil drain area of heads when we bought the bike we were told that the heads were replaced due to timing belts breaking not sure if new head gskts were used and we also have a coolant leak on the right side of engine looks like it is an expansion plug aka freeze plug but no one shows them there is one on each side of block ay front of block just behind the oil filter and water pump housing assembly on the front of the engine does any one know the size of these plugs and there are a lot of engine gskt kits out there witch ones are better or should i go with Honda head gskts thanks for any and all help

not sure on the gaskets but orielly or any other autoparts store carries a freeze plg that is expandable, get the old one out and slip it in and tighten with a wrench ,its a 2 pc setup, they work great,,its been a while but i used em on a chev 350 once and they are an easy fix to a leaking freeze plug,,good luck

Stick with OEM head gaskets..lots of sub quality ones out there. Broken timing belts usually mean bent valves or holed pistons??? Misisng head bolts how does that happen??? Will blow gaskets almost immediately.
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83
