Hi
Can anyone help me in regards to my 76 GL 1000 overheat problem. The bike is going well and while I ride along the temperature gauge stays in the mid range however when I stop the bike at traffic lights etc the temperature gauge rises dramatically it does not go to the danger level however I am concerned when the hot weather comes in it will.
Any advice would be appreciated please.
Thanks

That is normal for that bike. Just make sure the fan is turning on and you will have nothing to worry about.

As long as it's not going into the red, you're fine. As mentioned, it's normal.
