Spoke Wheels on 79 GL
I am a Goldwing newbie. Will the earlier spoke wheels from 75-77 bike fit on my 79 GL1000? Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes if you are willing to bring along other early fork parts. The speedo drive is on the other side, and the brake calipers are different. I know the fork tubes are different, but pretty sure they do not need to change.

Also wanted to know what needs to be included in the spoke wheel swap on a 79 GL1000.
do the Brake Calipers need to be from the same model year as the Front Wheel and Fork?
