Carb pucks

I have a 75 gl1000 and I noticed that there are only 3 carb pucks in the rebuild kit. I have a puck in each carb and am courious which carb isn't supposed to have a carb puck.

All four are supposed to have a puck. Do you not have the old pucks? The carb won't care if it isn't shiny.

When I got the bike it only had 2 and I didn't know which 2 they came from. So I bought 4 and it's still not running but possibly it's a different problem.
