Vetter fairing locked compartment

Post by sfruechte »

I recently purchased a used Vetter fairing with a locked compartment and no key. Does anybody know a good way to get the compartment open with the least amount of damage? Or better yet, no damage?

If they're the same as mine, they should be a 5 pin tumbler lock, which can be easily picked with the right tools.

Just take it to a locksmith. They can get it open and provide you with new keys. If they are reputable, they will want to see proof of ownership of the bike.

Good luck, and let us know how things turn out.
