Replacing front fender

Looking to see what different front fenders people have put on their GL1100 's.
Trying to use something smaller and a bit more sporty.
I was wondering if CB750 and CB900 fenders will fit ?? Or any other.

Here is a pic of my old front wheel and my new one.
The new one is off of a 1983 GL1100 that I bead blasted and then powder coated.

Hello,

I just read this post. Did you ever find a fender for your bike? I am trying to do the same thing. Trying to see if a KZ1000 fender will fit. If anybody can help that would be great.

I've not done it, but have read/ seen the cb900 fenders installed. IIRC, it's a bolt- on. Not sure about the 750 fenders.

Awesome, Thank you for the reply. The kz1000 fender looks like it might fit but I might have to weld the mounting holes closed and then redrill new ones. The holes look slightly wider on the KZ fender. Have a great day!!!

Haha!!!! Just seen the price of the cb900 fender used on eBay. Worth it!!!! Thanks again for your help!!!!
