Tail running lights not working

Post by FlashBack »

Good afternoon.
So i decided today to change out my shocks. All went well, everything is back together. However, the tail lights on my bags are not working in the rear. The turn signal portion is working fine, just not the marker portion on both rear lights.
I checked what i think is the right fuse. 5A next to the accessory fuse. Changed it out thinking that was the issue but no.

Am i checking the wrong fuse? Is there an inline fuse that i am missing? Any assistance is appreciated.
Thank you

I originally was going to replace the bags, however, I had a set of shocks and figured while i had the bags off, i would change out the shocks. Everything went well and back together correctly. Double and triple checked the connection you referenced. They are connected. The funny thing is though, the turn signals work just fine. It's just the tail running lights that are not working.
Had a ride planned for tomorrow with the wife but i may have to postpone if i cant get this figured out

I am starting to think the marker lights shouldn't be on? Works great for the blinker, just no marker. wierd. Is there any fuses in the fairing that might be causing this issue?
I think as long as blinkers work and tail light/break light work i am legal to ride

I just went through this problem.. It was the bulb sockets. Cleaned every thing up with wire brush and steel wool. All good now.
