20 nm, (15 ft.lbs.) From the Honda service manual. No, the inner timing cover is bolted to the holder.

hi dave
tnx for the specs
i was told its 27 nm
broke one bolt' had to rethread another...thats what 7 nm will do to you...
i think that on the right sidethe inner timming is bolted to the head and on the left- one bolt goes in the holder and the other to the head.

mechanicly speaking- is it safe ? if the belt is still on both sides, and the cam holder comes of- will somthing move ( engine will rotate, timming marks will not aline etc) or i can place it back no worries?
tnx

If the cam stays in place and you don't rotate the engine no problem.
