Oil leak oil pan

83 1100 I , 37000 miles
It leaks out of that hole,,, what is that hole?

That is the water pump weep hole, or "telltale hole" - it's telling you that a seal in your water pump has failed, and instead of contaminate your coolant with engine oil, it's leaking out this hole. You need to now have a read through How to remove and replace your water pump.

Just a little more info..three spots for oil leaks..orange is the oil seal, green the pump mounting bolts there are 3?? of them and red the rear o ring. As said it's a warning weep hole you can run the bike w/o worrying many run for months before they address the issue just check your oil level..that hole can also weep water which signifies a leak for the other end of the pump..same thing a warning..can still ride w/o too much worry..just check water level and watch for over heating.
