Reproduction saddlebag liners

Post by Good Hondog »

Has anyone found a source for replacement textile bags that fit inside the GL1100 saddlebags? The factory ones look like a nice accessory Honda sold judging by the picture in the parts manual. They sure would make packing for a trip easier.

Easy to make if you have a sewing machine..sew handles on fabric ends, sew zipper sides on each end and then fold up and sew the side together leaving lots of baggy-ness to fit the bags..to make really nice cut end flaps "square" and sew square ends.

Thanks, I didn't consider making a set. I'm not finding any commercial manufacturer that make these liners for Goldwings as old as ours. A home made set could be tailor made to fit the bags and maybe also the trunk.Good suggestion RBGERSON, thank you!

Any time..DIY is always :D :D a good choice!!! Also if you add side pockets you can store tools with easy access when not packing up for a long trip.
