Just changed front wheel bearings on my 1980 GL 1100,when I put axle back in and torqued it down its binding to where will barely turn.Any ideas? Thanks

Check parts, you may have forgotten a spacer. Also check that speedometer drive is meshed properly.

And the order of tightening down the caps makes a difference ..I think back bolts then front but I could be wrong. bearings not flush/sitted straight?? the axle doesn't turn the bearings do...
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83

Did you fully seat the bearings when you replaced them in the wheel?
