rear shock question

Post by arnoldsq »

where there different styles of shocks on the 82 interstate? all the parts listings I can find show the air fitting on the upper mount point. Mine are a few inches up from the dust boot at the bottom of the housing. the shocks currently hold air and seem to function properly, but one of the air fitting plastic nut holding it on is broken and not putting any pressure onto the air fitting. im trying to find a parts listing that shows what I need to purchase.

Glad you figured out the part. I had to look up Box Elder, SD. I was in the Air Force but never made to Ellsworth. I'm wondering if that is where they have a bunch of ICBMs???

Close to the Black Hills and that ain't bad.
