Replacing rear brake line on an 1100

Post by 2Smokey2 » Mon Jul 09, 2018 12:52 am

Can anyone tell me what is necessary to replace the rear brake line on an 1100? The protecting rubber bushings that are in retainers are of particular interest. I have poor eyesight and cannot see if the holders are hinged or how to open them up to allow the replacement rubbers to be placed in them and around the brake fluid line. Thanks for any help you can provide. Smokey

They are only attached on 1 end so bend them open to change the line. I hear ya on the eyesight thing. Getting old is not for sissys.
