Fork Won't Take Fluid

Post by NWWing » Tue Aug 07, 2018 9:02 pm

Hi folks,
Apologies if this subject has previously been covered. I searched for a while and haven't yet found it mentioned, but I have a 1983 Aspencade, and after installing new fork seals, draining as much of the "old stuff" as I could, my right side fork won't accept any fluid. Left side took 9.1 oz just fine. Progressive air/oil set up...stock.

I'm certain I'm doing something wrong just not sure what. I'm trying to install through the air fitting on the right. Like I say, worked fine on the other side. Riding the bike works well turning left, but it "dives" turning right--like the right fork is soft. Air compressor works and fork holds air.

Any help provided is much appreciated. Newbie to Wings. Been light wrenching for decades and never encountered this issue. Thanks.
