Oem grip question
I took these awful grips off my new to me gl 1100. I see that there are some kind of bar ends that are supposed to be on the end of the bars. I'm trying to find what they look like, i haven't found any pics anywhere. I have a set of Honda oem grips coming and would like to source the correct ends or suitable aftermarket ends. I wonder if anyone has any info or a picture of the oem ends, thanks for reading. Scott.

Re: Oem grip question
I've looked at the Honda diagrams but that really doesn't help much, since the part isn't available to buy, and i can't see what it looks like, it's just a representation of the part. What i really need is a clear picture of stock bar end from an '81 gl110 if anyone can post one. If i know what it looks like i can search some aftermarket solutions or ebay for an original set maybe. Thanks anyway. Scott.

Re: Oem grip question
Stock grips have a rubber end a little bit bigger than the grip itself to keep your hand from sliding off.and no shinning end cap. Run over to Parts n More and type in end caps, and you will see or get a idea of what you need or looking for. handlebar end caps,on search will also do the job. There is a nice picture on Parts-n-More of your grips

Re: Oem grip question
I dont know if these grips are the true OEM for my 1982 Gl1100 but I love them so much I have them on my 2003 Goldwing 1800 as well. My 1800 came with the same grips as in your pics and they were too thick for me. The Ebay honda are definitely longer in length than standard fare motorcycle grips and fit the GL1100 and GL1800 perfectly.

Re: Oem grip question
Thanks, those grips in the link you provided, look / are exactly what i bought and installed on my '81. They're nice. I just put stock bmw grips on a K75 i bought, it had some awful foam things on the bars for grips. Cheers.
