air chamber reassembly GL 1100 I

After disassembling my air box to fix some leaking orings and replaced the gaseket. How do you replace the small plastic fuel pipe that connects the 2 air box pieces? Are there gaskets or orings to seal it and how the heck does it fit back together? I am stumped?

You just put it in the hole in either half and put the 2 halves together.
