Hi all. I have the opportunity to buy a 1980 Goldwing that hasn't run in about 2 years. The owner began to replace the front cam seals, took everything apart, then got a new bike. It's been sitting in his garage ever since.

Having zero experience with Hondas, I was hoping to get some insight into what I might be getting myself into. Any advice would be welcomed.

Thanks.

Welcome, from the deep, deep south. Read the posts under the year of your GW, the How=to's, and the DIY, and you will know as much as I do, which is not very much .

Pick up a shop manual-not just a Clymer. Between that, and the how-to section and helpful community on this site, if you know which end of a screwdriver to hold, you should have no problems.
