this showed up, either on the bench or on the floor, during the disassembly/cleaning of the carbset for wing2.
i don't recall seeing anything remotely like it on the wing1 carbset, so i am 95% sure that it is just workroom debris, but want to make sure.
thanks in advance.
is this part of my carb set ?

Yeah, you are going to need that!! It is the jet needle guide that is in the throat of your carbs. Just look down the throat and you can see the top of it with the jet needle going down the middle of it.

i was so sure it was just workroom debris that i almost didn't bother asking.
looked down the throat of the carbs and it is clearly missing from number 3.

Glad I could help out a little. I have blown a few of these into oblivion (you know, the darkest recesses of the shop where no man could hope to find it again!). I have learned to put my finger over the holes when using an air compressor after cleaning them...… Make sure to reinstall correctly as I think it will fit in the wrong way also.
