I've never had any success making up my own spark plug wires. anyone around here making custom fit sets? tks, melvin

If they are for the 1100 they couldn't be easier. You need 6 ft. of 8mm solid core spark plug wire or 8 gauge stereo amplifier cable works, just can't say how long the insulation will last. The wire screws into the plug caps and on the coil end you slip the grommets and nuts off the old cable and slip them on the new, then screw them onto the coils.
