Post by hummbird »

where can i buy Honda cover gaskets ( 11831-371-010 and 11832-371-010 ) i can find aftermarket ones but not Honda ones, Do these need replaced very often ? i dont have mine off yet to see the condition of the gaskets but they look ok. i read the aftermarket gaskets are no good , what are your thoughts ? thank you again

I used chrome plastic car door edge molding on one, looked pretty nice. They are not something that has to be leek proof.

There is no reason not to use aftermarket seals there. Not critical at all. I have had aftermarkets on my 76 for 13 years.
