front brake pressure

on 06oct I bought my first Goldwing, 82gl1100i. been working on it most days since then. I've done forks seals and juice, wheel bearings, rebuilt all 3 calipers, both master cylinders, all new cables, rebuilt the carbs myself, (it is running sweet), took my time and it was a piece of cake to do. done several other things as well. problem is after a front brake system rebuild I can't for the life of me get caliper operation. I even swapped out the master cylinder to a fairly new one I had bought last year. I tried for over 4 hours today to get front brake with no success. right now I have the bike on the side stand with the lever zip tied back tight. I have yet to replace the front lines, originals are in place. although I did flush them out best I could. I got fluid to the calipers but that's about it. the front brakes "worked" before I tore into them. there was one piston seized up. other than a quart of gas and a match, any recommendations? tks

Have you tried bleeding the banjo bolt on the master cyl? Also, it's been missed a lot is the tiny pin hole in the master cylinder under the reservoir, if it's plugged you will probably never get the brakes to bleed properly & if you did the brakes would lock up after a short ride.

yeah, I broke all 5 banjos loose, bleeders and all. I changed out the master cylinder to one I know is good. I had it on my Spyder as an aux braking system in conjunction with the foot brake. got to be the hoses, they're old, oem originals i''m sure. they must be collapsed inside or something. hard to tell.

well, I figured out the obvious problem. the rubber brake lines are history. removed the line from the master cylinder and hooked up one I have here from my spyder and lo and behold the right caliper bled right out. old lines in the trash and new stainless line kit on the way.

where are you getting a stainless kit from ? i usually order from bike bandit but i don't see any there.
