rear caliper 83aspy to 82interstate?

this is prob another of my stupid questions, but is there any reason a rear caliper from an 83 aspy won't work on an 82 interstate? it bolts up. only difference I see is the 83 has 32mm pistons. pads are the same. what say ye? tks

It will bolt on BUT the aspy has a thicker rotor so the caliper is wider. It will still work, the pistons will come out farther but not far enough to be a problem.
