can anyone tell me what size wrench fits the stator bolt cover?

a 17mm boxed wrench is what I use. open end you're asking for trubs

thanks, that is what I started with but it started to round of the head so I stopped.

Someone overtorqued it and the oring is flat so the cap is metal to metal and binding.
Always replace any flattened oring, then 1/4 turn past first contact of the oring.

I think that is what happened, had to really mess it up to get it out. Did get it out but now I have to try to find a new/used one, Anyone know where I might get one?

Just a suggestion to make sure to use a 6 point box end rather than a 12 point. Sometimes makes a difference.

That cover is used on quite a few different Hondas, and is still available new.
