Oil loss

Post by wlane »

I have been tightening bolts all over the engine. I took the bike for a rest ride and when I got back I watched it lose oil like it was bleeding too death. How many points on the engine are there too lose oil from? What should I check first?

Try spraying it clean with brake cleaner, to get rid of any oil. Then dust it with talcum powder. Any oil leak (and its source) will become instantly apparent.
