I have a stripped nut on the rear drive shaft, by rear tire, can you use heat on these nuts to loosen. Broke two quarter inch ratchets trying to loosen.

just trying to replace rear tire.

Yes, you can use moderate heat. There is an O-ring inside that you might have to replace.
A 1/4" ratchet is a bit small. 3/8" with 6-point socket is best. PB Blaster is a good penetrant.
I think a nut cracker would be difficult since there is no room around those nuts. It's barely enough room for the socket to fit on the nut. I assume you mean the nut hex-shape is stripped. You could try to grind it down to the next size, or forcibly drive a smaller socket onto it.
You can also remove the rear tire while leaving the final drive unit in place. It's tricky, you have to work the tire to the left to disengage the splines. It's even tougher to get back on, and I don't recommend it.... but any port in a storm. Removing the wheel might give you more room to work on the nut if you have to grind or cut it off.

When a bolt/nut is stubborn I always tighten it first the loosen it.Even a smidgen helps.
