Valve covers

Hi to all, Im tried to find valve covers to my gl1100. Its not easy job, now i know. GL1200 has more parts available. In pictures they look the same but are they? Thanks

I would suggest the following. Find some places that deal in parts for these bikes that have an online microfiche showing the parts. Call up each model and compare the part number for the valve cover gaskets. If the numbers are the same the parts are very likely the same. Companies don't like to change every little part for each model change.
Also, make sure to check your little rubber coneheads that go under cover bolts. If these are bad you will need to replace them also. They will likely cost as much as the gaskets.
