No start
I have an 83 GoldWing , it's been siting for about 6 months when I tried to start it it just clicked for about 2/3 pushes then nothing. I tried to charge the battery but that did no good. The 30 amp fuse by the selanoid was bad so I replaced it still nothing. The headlights come on but no start, what am I overlooking? Thanks for any help.

Re: No start
Confusing set of symptoms. No start is usually corroded grounds or bad connectors/switches/solenoid. But blown 30 amp means a short. But the replacement fuse didn't blow.
With a good fuse, check for voltage at the solenoid coil terminal upon start attempt. No volts, backtrack to start button. Good volts, but no click means bad solenoid. Click means check starter motor and cables. Fuse blows again means bad starter or frozen motor. That's a lot of maybes... Try to narrow it down and repost.
