I have issue with the wires but not the yellow ones but the other group next to them white, blue yellow and another white I think not sure what they go too I got bike running and began to test the first white wire at the plug and bike started running fine cut bike on and off few times still great charge at idle is 12.60 goes up when reff up so I was going take for test ride and after put tank and seat back on ran bad again wanted to die so I pushed on wires like before ran better question is you think it's bad plug or ground n wire or what this wire goes to is bad and if it's bad where and what is it that it goes to thanks for help

On my 1200,the plug by the battery with 4 small wires is the pulse coils connector.
Mine was corroded and just a bump would stop firing on 2 cylinders.
Found white corrosion on the plug.
Diligent cleaning restored the good connection and had no other problems.

I will check that tommorow I'm sure my issue is with those wires or plug like your saying because I had to fix the 3 yellow wires next to them then when started to ride 2 selinders wasn't fireing then I was told to check these wires when pushed with prob it ran great then started running bad again when put back together but I will check plug for corrosion let you know what I find thanks slot ready get my ole girl back on rd

virgilmoble I'm pretty sure it's these wires are my issue I can move them it will die or might run smooth . What I'm thinking if I can't clean plug and fix issue can I hard wire the wires and do away with plug but I'm cleaning first and trying figure out what exact wire causing problem wish me luck any advise is welcome thanks again

If scraping ,cleaning and tightening the connection doesn't look right.Cut it out and solder them.

That's my thought as well seen I can buy new plugs but if cleaning doesn't do it going soldier them see if that works think it will thanks for help let you know in day or two

Found my issue after replacing the plug that was bad my solder job was bad resoldered all wires runs great now another issue only starts holding clutch in

Starting only while holding clutch in suggests a problem with the neutral switch. Could be the internal switch itself. But with your other wiring trouble, I'd start checking the neutral switch wires and connectors. A wiring diagram would be helpful in finding those. Does your neutral indicator light function? You asked this same question in a new thread. Probably should terminate this discussion here, and follow it there.
