I got a 1982 Honda Goldwing gl1100I the front wheel did not line up with the forks and the brake calibers so I got a diff wheel and rotors from the local junk yard I took them off a 82 gl1100I and the wheel now lines up to specs the right brake caliber fits but the left does not fit it well not go over the brake caliber I tried using the old calibers same problem. the shop who is working on this cant seem to figure it out either something is not making since here the forks do not look bent or damaged so any ideas on what is going on here? before I took it to the shop there was a spacer someone make and put on the bike to make it line up but front end had a wobble to it. and I wanted it fixed right. the bike has only around 13,000 miles on very by dmv to be true miles. any ideas on what is going on here? I did have him put in new progressive fork springs. but I am sure that's has nothing to do with it.
