CONVERTING A GL1100 STANDARD INTO AN ASPENCADE

Post by Moosehead »

My project is to convert a 1982 GL1100 Standard from parts from the GL1100I and GL1100A to eventually make an ASPENCADE. I've already started with the obvious cosmetic body modifications (saddlebags and trunk) but what else would I need to make the upgrade that much sweeter?

What else is required to get the manual air ride suspension to use an Air Suspension Control interface like this?

I may have a compressor in my mountain of junk.
You will need a different false tank to put the digital things on an aspencade.

I have a false tank with the air ride controls in the upper door. Let me know if you are interested. I went the other way and stripped down my dresser into a naked, so I may have parts if you need them. I already sold the fairing (Stripped completely down) and the Vetter bags and trunk, but I have most of everything else if your interested. Trim on front fender, passenger grab rail, floor boards, exhaust, all trim for fairing, etc.

Thank you, but I don't have Black, I have Wineberry and I don't have the capabilities to paint.
