Soo Im chaining my belts so need the cap off but its stuck and ruined, clearly former owner had the problem and I made it worse
any good advice to get it out.

You really don't need to remove that to work on the timing belts, just put a wrench on the front crank pulley.
If you really want to get the cap off you might be able to get on it with a small pipe wrench around the edges. It may strip the threads out, but it should be the threads in the cap that let go. You can pick out the remnants from the threads in the cover afterward.

I've had to end up using vice grips on that cap before.
Fortunately, Honda uses that cap in a lot of places on a lot of bikes (even still today) so it is readily available.

I bought a replacement, but no chance getting it out without more work, Im thinking about taking the engine out in the future, I will deal with it then.
