Radio issues

I have a 1982 goldwing gl1100 Aspencade and just lately the radio will not go into stereo (st) it's so low it's hard to hear and the volume is all the way up. What should I look for. Thanks.

Do you have the Clarion II radio?

It could be dirty switch gear in the control head on the fairing face, dirty mute switch on the handle bar control or in the multiple parts of the radio pieces in the fairing.

Sierra Electronics is in your area(Troy OH) and have been repairing wing radios over 25 years. 2nd or 3rd generation family running it.

Not sure which radio I have. It has the radio, intercom and CBS on the unit. Thanks for the advice

Most likely a type 2. (It has radio readouts up above the dash/speedometer)
