The last electrical oddity on my 83 is that I can't work out how to get the instrument lights on for night riding....which I rarely do but for safety it would be good to have them working.
Anyone have suggestions for where to begin?
Fuses are good, wiring seems to be all there.

Re: gauge lights
after 37 years, there's a decent chance that they are simply all burned out.

Re: gauge lights
They don't turn on and off - they come on whenever the ignition is turned on. If they're not on, then the bulbs are burned out.
