Offset Ignition Position

Post by Gerry1965 »

I have a 1983 GL1100 that came to me as an Aspencade. Supposedly, i do believe it had a digital dash. I have no ignition for it. I was told by our local Goldwing parts guru that goldwing ignitions always where in the middle. As you can see from the picture the ignition position is over to the right side of the bike. Is this top steering knucle tower.

i am not exactly sure what you are asking either, and i have never had an '83 aspencade; however ... a quick google search of "1983 aspencade dashboard" shows the ignition switch off to the right (not so, for '82, apparently).
