1983 interstate vs. Aspencade wheels front and rear
Are the rear wheels on these two models directly swappable? (I have a loose bearing on the right side of my 1983 interstate that I used shim material to take up the slack. I have found a Aspencade rear wheel that the bearing is tight in and wonder if it’s a direct fit to the interstate)
The front brake rotors and speedometer drive on the 1983 model of Interstate and Aspencade are not the same so not directly “swappable” without make some changes.

Yes, those are the same rear wheels. Even the 1983 Standard GL1100 has the same rear wheel as the 1983 Aspencade and Interstate.

Thanks for the rear wheel info.
As a side note I met another rider last week that went by the Name "Hondog " - He was traveling in Florida heading back north for the winter - his Honda had a side car and self-made travel trailer too. Huge rig, he said it goes pretty good but is a bit harder to stop.
