Won't idle

I have a 1983 GL1100I. it was in storage for 8 years. when I took it out I rebuilt the carbs. It runs but won't idle. I put a heat gun on each header pipe and the number 3 pipe is about 200 degrees cooler. any ideas on this? I'm thinking the idle passage is plugged or something.

even if number 3 was not contributing at all, it should still idle (poorly) on the other three cylinders. my thinking is that all 4 idle jets are dirty, with number 3 being the worst.

You are 100% correct on the idle jets. they were all plugged solid. I cleaned them out and the bike runs and idles awesome. I think it will run even better after I sink the carbs. Thanks for the advice!
