Flickering leds
I recently installed all LEDs except for the Gage light bulbs. I ran into a little issue where when the engine is running the headlight and the flashers have a flicker to them when I turn them on. When I do not have the engine running none of the lights flicker. it's a pretty fast flicker and hasn't gotten me pulled over yet but I'm wondering if anybody has run into this and what y'all did to fix it. Thank you all for any and all help in advance.

i should also add that i have done the alternator conversion with about a thousand miles on it. noticed the flicker this morning when i was actually looking at the lights as it was running. always looked at the lights before starting it before.

Re: Flickering leds
Depending on the alternator output you could bee seeing some ripple. LEDs respond so much faster than incandescent bulbs that you can see things like that. You could add a capacitor to the problem lights. (might need a diode, too) Might also be worthwhile to check the alternator for excessive ripple.
Of course it could just be a loose connection that is vibrating from the engine. That is easy to check, just unhook the main alternator wire and see if the flickering stops.

i have found that after the wing has ran for a few minutes to warm up, the flicker no longer happens. problem solved i guess?
