I was riding home the other and stopped at a store. When i turned my key back on my main fuse on the {aftermarket} starter relay blew. it was a 7.5a blade fuse. i thought that was a little small so i put a 10a in it and same problem occurred. when i put a 30a in everything worked fine again with the exception of when its cold the starter button doesnt seem to make good contact or something else isnt but when its warm all works as normal.
Ideas???
thank you in advance

How long have you had the bike? The oem main dog bone fuse was 30A, can't imagine that a 7.5 amp aftermarket blade fuse would have ever been sufficient.

well thats good news. i had to replace the dog bone when i bought it last year as it was blown and put back with foil. its weird that it has been running fine on a 7.5 all summer until just last week.
